Perhaps more famous for its full bodied reds than its white wines, Piedmont still has some stunning white wines to offer. The unique white pinot noir, which although produced in tiny quantities is a deliciously different drink, perfect with meaty white fish as well as cheese. The Roero arneis, an indigenous and complex varietal only found in this region is also well worth exploring.
